The ATI FireGL 8800 comes with a wide variety of features; the major feature that caught my eye was Hydravision, which manages your display by keeping track of window placements, multi-monitor support and screen resolution. Multi-desk has a little icon in the system tray that permits you to switch between desktops. But, using this feature is great. Putting ICQ and the seemingly hundreds of pop ups of people I may want to talk to today in one desktop, 3D Studio in another, in the next window, Visual Studio, Internet Explorer windows open to some of my favourite websites (like Design Technica) and of course one for my mp3s.
