Keyboards are coke-victims, or coffee, or whatever you don't want to spill on them. The point is - they get filthy, and you probably hate cleaning them with q-tips and white spirit? I do, and I thought that I should give the dishwasher a try. Read it!

AT to ATX conversion

Want to use that cool old AT cabinet for your new ATX motherboard? - This tutorial-thing just might show you how to do it.
First, I checked that my ATX motherboard actually would fit the cabinet and that the AGP, PCI and ISA slots would fit the holes on the back. Everything checked out all right, so I moved on to checking the power supply... Read it!

Inline Tempprobe - The Fast Way

Today we are going to make a temperatureprobe that probes the water in your inline watercooling system. If you use a reservoir it will be alot easier to just stick the probe into the water in the reservoir. Not all of us use reservoirs. ModdingZone is full of male nerds, but girls can do it too, and I have just proven that fact. I decided to use glow in the dark stars, the ones you are supposed to put in your roof, and dark blue color on the case. No fans, no holes and not expensive. This is just plain cute =) Read it!

DoS-attacks against ModdingZone

ModdingZone have been attacked by lamers two times this year. First time in January, and last time yesterday evening. The 2 Mbit line connecting the server hosting ModdingZone to Internet transfered 250KB/sec in four hours. To stop this the server was powered down. Read it!

The Gathering 2001

Yes, I did it again. We, katmai, tripod and I, went to The Gathering 2001 - a cyberspace odyssey. Still known as the world largest LAN party. There is no exact official number of attendees, but i would guess that about 4500 nerds were present this easter. Five days and four nights of whatever-you-want: playing, coding, modding, leeching, trading and so on. Read it!

NorthLAN 2000 SE
